At CORE® (College of Retail Education), members get a hands-on overview of each Do it Best Corp. program and how it can benefit their store. From building their own advertising program to viewing invoices online, they gain an inside view of all the retail tools we offer from the people who manage those programs. CORE is a great orientation for new members and a great refresher for existing members. CORE is also about getting to know the Do it Best Corp. family and philosophy. Members enjoy time spent with other members and Do it Best Corp. staff, including a dinner hosted by President and CEO Dan Starr.
Online video training 
DiBTV™ is a versatile online video knowledge library, providing information about Do it Best programs, products, and a whole lot more. DiBTV offers a wide range of mobile-friendly programming, including videos for member-owners, store employees, and consumers.

Throughout each spring and fall market, Do it Best Corp. presents free educational seminars offering proven methods to help members' businesses grow. More than 60 learning opportunities are available at each market.
With topics ranging from business management and increasing sales to technology and product knowledge, there are a number of great opportunities to improve operational efficiency and increase employee knowledge. 
LBM School
Build your team’s understanding of the lumber and building materials industry through our exclusive LBM School. This intensive three-day, hands-on seminar enhances their product knowledge while growing their service and sales skills.
Executive Retail Symposium
Our Executive Retail Symposium is presented in more than 40 locations throughout the country. This one-day, interactive symposium focuses on topics that will help drive sales and profits in member stores.  The symposiums are developed specifically for store owners and managers. Plenty of time is devoted to discussion, and members gain a good understanding of how other stores operate.  
Executive Paint Forums
During these interactive sessions, attendees learn from both presenters and fellow members how to deliver the ultimate service experience to their customers and how to drive sales and profits in the paint department. Owners, managers and key paint department staff members will all benefit from the opportunity to enhance both product knowledge and selling skills.
Home Décor School of Design
The Home Décor School of Design helps members become a home décor destination. Over the 
course of three days, attendees will receive valuable time-saving and money-making ideas to become the expert all of customers will come to rely on. The training sessions are designed to focus on topics relevant to improving the overall knowledge and skill base, regardless of experience level.
Rental School
The Do it Best Rental Center Training School delivers the knowledge and skills needed to maximize  rental center’s profits. Whether just getting started or wanting to improve operations, the Do it Best Rental Center Training School delivers the best resource in the industry. Taught by rental expert Bruce Campbell, attendees will not only learn about the equipment but understand the complete rental management system.
Local member area meetings
Area meetings allow Do it Best Corp. members to meet with key personnel from other area stores to share marketing strategies, product news, and other key items of interest. Our territory managers will facilitate an open discussion on a variety of topics. These free meetings are often held in a member’s store.
